Deut. 7:25-26

"The graven images of their gods
shall ye burn with fire: thou shalt not desire the
silver or gold that is on them, nor take it unto thee,
lest thou be snared therein: for it is an abomination to
YHVH thy God.
Neither shalt thou bring an abomination into thine house,
lest thou be a cursed thing like it: but thou shalt
utterly detest it, and thou shalt utterly abhor it; for
it is a cursed thing."

"And thou shalt gather all the
spoil of it into the midst of the street thereof, and
shalt burn with fire the city, and all the spoil thereof
every whit, for YHVH thy God: and it shall be an heap
for ever; it shall not be built again.
And there shall
cleave nought of the cursed thing to thine hand:
that YHVH may turn from the fierceness of his anger, and
shew thee mercy, and have compassion upon thee, and
multiply thee, as he hath sworn unto thy fathers;"
